Nestled on 5 acres of land, this charming country home is ideally situated just a short 10-minute drive from the bustling Concan area and the ever-popular Frio River float. The nearby Dry Frio, with its perpetually flowing waters and adjacent natural spring, offers a tranquil escape perfect for both the little ones and those seeking a bit of water therapy. Boasting 3 bedrooms, 3 baths, and accommodations for up to 11 guests, this cozy abode features a den area, spacious dining table, TV, and a snug twin bed on the lower level. Ascend the steps to find a well-equipped kitchen, inviting living area, master bedroom, and two additional baths. Upstairs, two more bedrooms and a third bathroom with a shower await, ensuring ample comfort and convenience for your entire stay. Step into a realm of outdoor bliss where possibilities abound. A wrap-around covered porch envelops you in tranquility, offering a front-row seat to the playful river below and the mesmerizing hillside sunsets. Additional seating and tables line the side, inviting moments of connection and relaxation. A grand BBQ grill stands ready for culinary adventures, nestled in a covered area with easy access to the heart of the home. The expansive fire pit beckons for cozy gatherings under the stars. A spacious covered concrete slab awaits, offering a versatile space for your personal use or vehicle parking. Engage in friendly competition at the horseshoe pit, where fun and laughter await. Should you desire, bring your own horseshoes to enhance the experience. To help keep the cost of your rental down, we do offer our guest the option to bring their own Linens and Towels. We do offer the option to rent them at an extra cost. If wanting to rent linens and towels for your stay, please allow us 4 weeks prior to arrival notice. Make note that we do have a limited supply and cannot guarantee we will have lines and towels readily available. All King, Queen and Full beds include two towels and will be charged at $24 dollars per bed. All twin beds will include one towel per bed and will be charged at $12. Best Frio River Vacation Place

This is our 12th year of staying at 4 Maples! This is our annual family vacation and we don’t know how lucky we were to have found this place. We enjoy the solitude of the house with our own part of the Dry Frio to use. We fish, swim, eat and star gaze at night! The stars are amazing! We are close enough to Concan to float the river when possible, try restaurants in the area and cook when we want. We couldn’t ask for a better spot to spend time with each other!

This place i accidentally found and so glad I did!! My family and I love this place. It is our 2nd time here and we will be going back every year! It is secluded, has a nice water hole for the family to enjoy the peace and quiet while enjoying the water!! The place is very spacious, 11 of us and we were never on top of each other!! If you are thinking of getting this place, DO IT!!

We enjoyed staying at 4 maples. The river was beautiful. We saw many deer in the yard. The house was very cozy and roomy. Like others have said they do need to replace the queen mattress in the master room. It is very loud when rolling over in the bed.

Great place to stay even during a drought. Very private and beautiful property with very unique decor. Management company was very attentive to issues we brought up at the end of our stay (it was nothing that effected our stay, but could for future guests.) We would stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay. Well decorated and spacious cabin perfectly located on the Dry Frio (Don’t worry, there is plenty of water flowing).

We really enjoyed our stay. Too many positives to list. The only recommendation I would give the home owner is that it may be time to replace the downstairs queen mattress. I didn’t mind the softness but my wife struggled to get comfortable. Other than that... everything was perfect. As an aside... if you have Verizon or T-Mobile don’t expect to have service but apparently AT&T worked fine.

We will definitely be staying here again someday... hopefully soon.

This was our first time staying at 4 Maples and we absolutely loved it. So peaceful and so much space for our family. We loved seeing the deer which was everyday, and the private water area was a nice touch. I read some of the reviews of previous stays, and honestly the only recommendations I have for the owners are the replacing master bedroom mattress. It was very comfortable but very squeaky. Also I read about stains on the staircase. There are a few stains that the owner could clean up, but it absolutely was not a problem at all. Just simple wear and tear but overall the place was beautiful. I would definitely recommend this spot for a family. You will love it :) Thank you 4 Maples for wonderful memories <3

We were concerned about the river as it has been so very dry this year. There is a small area down from the house where we were able to set up chairs & a tent for shade, and pretty much just relax. We went in to the actual park and found the water there to be not as clear or cold as in the past so that was a disappointment. The water at the house is nice in the mornings, but it did warm up in the afternoons. We enjoyed the deer viewing, and the hummingbirds as well as the small cat (keke) that lives in the area. We fed the deer as well as the cat and the birds. The house was well equipped. There are quite a few stairs (ups and downs in groups of 3 steps) and one main staircase going up to the 2 additional bedrooms and bath. Getting to the water was a nice path but of course you must wear shoes and be careful. There are parts of the river that are quite slippery with green moss. We had a great time but found if you come in late July or early August many of the shops in the area are only open on the weekends. Overall we truly enjoyed ourselves. Dinner at Neals was a good treat one eveming, other than that, we cooked at the house.

We absolutely LOVE staying at 4 Maples on the Frio! We have stayed here for one week every summer for 9 years (we have used Frio River Vacation Rentals for 10 years). This place is perfect for a private getaway with private river access to the Dry Frio and a quick trip to float on the Frio. We always look forward to our annual trip! There’s nothing like it!

I kept meaning to give a review because my family and I really enjoyed this place. We had 12 of us that stayed! It had enough room for all of us and we never felt cramped. The water was down when we went but if you take a short walk to the left there is a small swimming hole! The house was clean and had all the amenities we needed! It is very secluded. We seen deer and a huge cat that wasn't a domestic cat! If you are thinking of renting this place DO IT! We are definitely going back!

Frio River Vacation Rentals offers you a convenient method of reserving our vacation homes in the Frio Canyon area. In order to provide a personalized approach to doing business, we require our guests to make reservations by phone. This gives us the ability to better understand your needs and insure accuracy of the home selected and the dates you are reserving. A confirmation will be sent to you via email once your reservation has been made.

Responsible Party

NOTE: If it is an all adult group (18 years +) then ALL GUESTS MUST BE 25 YEARS OR OLDER! This information is located on our “Printable Version” of the Policies & Procedures shown below - effective date 7-4-17.

The responsible party securing the reservation must be 25 years of age and will be required to stay at the home during the entire reservation period. No exceptions. Please be prepared to provide driver’s license at check in.

The responsible party is the individual making the reservation and becomes the responsible party for the reservation and also or all other guests included in the rental of the home. There will be no refund for early departures under no circumstances.

You are responsible for the number of days you reserved with no exceptions. It is your obligation to double check your reservation dates.

Check In & Check Out:

Check in time is between 4:00 - 6:00 p.m. on your scheduled arrival date. (We cannot guarantee a 4pm check in on busy days, but you will be in your house before 6pm.) Check out will be at 11:00 a.m. on your scheduled departure date.

Late arrival (after 6pm) - guests will find a packet of information of their rental home in the area designated for late arrivals at the office. A map/key to your vacation home will be included in the packet along with other materials. All guests must have their contract signed and sent back to us in order for a late arrival packet to be left.

Miscellaneous:

Linens and towels are available, while supply lasts. The additional cost is $10.00 per person (Twin $10.00 - 1 person; Full, Queen, & King sheet sets $20.00 - 2 people).

We do not provide expendables such as toilet paper, paper towels, and soaps for dishwashing, bath, clothes washing. We will be providing coffee filters and daily trash pickup at your rental property at no charge.

Most of our homes have horseshoe pits. There are a few homes with volleyball. Please bring your own horseshoes and volleyballs. We have a few here at office, but our supply is limited. If you have your own, please bring them to ensure you will have what is needed for your outdoor activities.

Firewood is not provided at the rental properties.
