Garner State Park
Garner State Park is located on the Frio River seven miles north of Concan on US Hwy 83 in Uvalde County. Hundreds of thousands of visitors flock here each year to enjoy its facilities. The jukebox dance is held nightly on summer nights from Memorial Day to Labor Day at the Pavilion.
Lost Maples Natural Area
Lost Maples State Natural Area is located approximately five miles north of Vanderpool on Ranch Road 187 on the northwestern corner of Bandera County and the eastern edge of Real County.
Frio Bat Cave
Among the most spectacular Bat-watching sites in Texas, the Frio Cave in Concan provides a one in a lifetime experience with its millions free-tailed bats ascending into the sky each year from mid-March thru September.

The Frio Canyon has long been known for its abundant wildlife. At Garner State Park visitors will see white-tailed deer, black rock and fox squirrels, raccoons, and many other species.
