Peak Rate – May 15th – September 15th $1025 Non-peak March 1st - May 14th $875 Winter Rate September 16th – February 28th $750 All major holidays, spring break and upcoming October 2023 eclipse will be charged at peak rate. “DOUBLE SHOTZ” is one of the newest homes in the Concan Country Club subdivision. This premier custom-built Hill Country home sleeps 28 in beds. The spacious 5 bedroom, 4 ½ bath home will be perfect for your Frio River vacation. There are 3 bedrooms and 3 baths single story, main home. The other two bedrooms are in the upstairs “casita” along with 1 bath. There is a ½ bath located outside along with an outdoor shower. The upstairs “casita” is located above the carport and outdoor kitchen/cabana area. The open floor plan in the main house includes the kitchen, dining room, and great room. This space will give you ample space for your family and friends to enjoy. For your convenience, each of the downstairs bedrooms has a door that leads to the outdoor patio/swimming pool. This “casita” is above the outdoor kitchen/cabana area. You can see from the photos the location of the casita, pool, and main house. Central heat & air, full size clothes washer and dryer, dishwasher, 2 ovens, 2 full size refrigerators – one inside the kitchen and one in the outdoor kitchen area. Small appliances include microwave, blender, coffee maker, toaster, crock pot, and small electric griddle. Basic kitchen needs include pots/pans, bakeware, eating, cooking utensils, and glassware. Outdoors there is a large, covered patio, outdoor/kitchen/cabana, charcoal BBQ pit, propane (provided) Hibachi griddle, patio table, comfortable seating, bar stools, lounge chairs, & other extra seating. The children will have a wonderful outdoor playground to enjoy while the adults who want to stay young can enjoy sand volleyball, and a cement basketball court with professional backboard. To help keep the cost of your rental down, we do offer our guest the option to bring their own Linens and Towels. We do offer the option to rent them at an extra cost. If wanting to rent linens and towels for your stay, please allow us 3 weeks prior to arrival notice. Make note that we do have a limited supply and cannot guarantee we will have lines and towels readily available. We only stay 2 nights so we would love to stay longer . The house was more than I spec. The kitchen was so spacious and lovely. The pool was clean the rooms were just perfect. We were only 17 people. It was clean maybe because of the climate changes we got some allergies. The manager was very friendly and make things easy for us. Don't forget to bring your towels and bedsheets.

This house was so amazing we didn't want to leave! Everything was great! The only thing I will complain about is the little ledge as you walk up to the bar. It is a very dangerous trip hazard. Many of us nearly fell and hurt ourselves on it and my brother in law actually fell pretty hard and he was sober. Other than that the house was great!!

This would be our second time renting this property. Plenty of room and excellent sleeping quarters. Plenty of space in kitchen. Long driveway for parking.
Close to the river crossing and with access provided for The Concan swimming Hole. This swimming Hole is just right for kids and deeper water too. Big rocks to jump off. Sweet.

Great place to stay for your family vacation. Very clean and spacious for a large family. If you are going to stay, I would bring my own batteries for the tv remote and bring game system or etc to make sure you are able to watch tv. I’m not a big fan of the one shared bathroom, but it worked out fine. If I could give any advice to the owner. Make sure there is a King or queen size bed in each room. The four bunk beds in two of the rooms is kind of a bad idea. The mattress are little hard, but they will work. Beautiful kitchen and back yard. I love the fact there is a playground, volleyball area, and basketball court for the kids. The grill was amazing and the heating of the pool needs a little work. Double Shotz is new so I expected some of the experiences. The staff is amazing! This is my second time using Frio River Vacation Rentals and compared to my over 100 vacations. This staff is the best. You will not regret it! Friendly and courteous! Very professional staff. I would use them for 10/10 every year. I love double shotz and it will be in my top 5 to stay at. I am Looking forward to my next vacation at Frio River Vacation rentals!

Frio River Vacation Rentals offers you a convenient method of reserving our vacation homes in the Frio Canyon area. In order to provide a personalized approach to doing business, we require our guests to make reservations by phone. This gives us the ability to better understand your needs and insure accuracy of the home selected and the dates you are reserving. A confirmation will be sent to you via email once your reservation has been made.

Responsible Party

NOTE: If it is an all adult group (18 years +) then ALL GUESTS MUST BE 25 YEARS OR OLDER! This information is located on our “Printable Version” of the Policies & Procedures shown below - effective date 7-4-17.

The responsible party securing the reservation must be 25 years of age and will be required to stay at the home during the entire reservation period. No exceptions. Please be prepared to provide driver’s license at check in.

The responsible party is the individual making the reservation and becomes the responsible party for the reservation and also or all other guests included in the rental of the home. There will be no refund for early departures under no circumstances.

You are responsible for the number of days you reserved with no exceptions. It is your obligation to double check your reservation dates.

Check In & Check Out:

Check in time is between 4:00 - 6:00 p.m. on your scheduled arrival date. (We cannot guarantee a 4pm check in on busy days, but you will be in your house before 6pm.) Check out will be at 11:00 a.m. on your scheduled departure date.

Late arrival (after 6pm) - guests will find a packet of information of their rental home in the area designated for late arrivals at the office. A map/key to your vacation home will be included in the packet along with other materials. All guests must have their contract signed and sent back to us in order for a late arrival packet to be left.

Miscellaneous:

Linens and towels are available, while supply lasts. The additional cost is $10.00 per person (Twin $10.00 - 1 person; Full, Queen, & King sheet sets $20.00 - 2 people).

We do not provide expendables such as toilet paper, paper towels, and soaps for dishwashing, bath, clothes washing. We will be providing coffee filters and daily trash pickup at your rental property at no charge.

Most of our homes have horseshoe pits. There are a few homes with volleyball. Please bring your own horseshoes and volleyballs. We have a few here at office, but our supply is limited. If you have your own, please bring them to ensure you will have what is needed for your outdoor activities.

Firewood is not provided at the rental properties.
