Our guests have asked for it and here it is…a riverfront property WITH A POOL/hot-tub! Ryder’s Ridge is a premier riverfront property located in the Heartstone Development along the Frio River. The 5 bedroom/5 bath home has a split floor plan design with the spacious kitchen and living areas convenient to the large covered patio. The back wall of glass windows allows you to enjoy the outdoors any time of year.
The bedrooms are spacious and each have closets and private bathrooms. This home has 2 “master bedroom” areas. The washer/dryer laundry room is located near the single garage that is available for the guest to use. In the garage, the guests have a 2nd refrigerator for their use.
Outside there is a large covered patio area with beautifully handcrafted picnic tables to extend your entertainment. Under the covered area, the outdoor bar and entertainment area also has a flat screen TV. WiFi is offered at this home for the guest’s use during their stay.
The backyard area is fenced and landscaped with artificial turf that makes it a safe and wonderful place for little ones. The cedar swing hangs from a majestic heritage oak and overlooks the crystal clear Frio River! Certainly can’t get much better than this!

Ryder’s Ridge kitchen is equipped with all of your basic cooking needs which includes: Stove top on island, oven, refrigerator w/icemaker; blender, toaster, crock pot, coffee pot, basic pots and pans, baking dishes, dishware, glasses, mugs, and cooking utensils. If you have a favorite pan or skillet, pack it, but the kitchen is equipped with all basic kitchen needs. 2nd refrigerator (located in garage), full size washer/dryer in the separate utility room, 1 extra large flatscreen in living area, plus TV in the outdoor kitchen area on the patio. (NO DVD PLAYER) 4 bar stools at the outdoor granite bar area; outdoor sink; and TV for your outdoor enjoyment. The large covered patio is a wonderful extension of the living area, complete with several ceiling fans. There is extra seating with the hand crafted patio tables that will seat 24 people easily. Also outdoors on the pool deck area is a fire ring and BBQ pit. The backyard is fenced to include an area with artificial turf. Your view from the backyard and pool area is the beautiful Frio River along with the native Cypress trees. You do have private river access on stone walkway down to the river’s edge. In the riverfront area there are horseshoes set up. Electric golf carts are allowed in the subdivision, but at this time, there is no access to the riverfront area. Golf carts can be used to the river’s edge at the two parks at each end of subdivision. We will supply a map and information at check in.

From the Houston area : Take I-10 West towards San Antonio. In San Antonio as you travel west on I-10 stay to the left to remain on US Hwy 90 west to Sabinal
From the Dallas-Ft Worth area : Take I-35 South to Austin
From the Austin area : Take US 290 West to Fredericksburg. In Fredericksburg take Hwy 16 South towards Kerrville. At I-10 turn right and go West on I-10 to Hwy 41. Take Hwy 41 West to US Hwy 83. Take US Hwy 83 South to Leakey.
From El Paso : Take I-10 E towards San Antonio. Go past Junction and take US Hwy 83 south to Leakey
From Corpus : Take I-37 N towards San Antonio. At San Antonio take exit 139 to merge onto I-10 WestUS 87 North/US 90 West toward El Paso. Stay in the left lane to remain on US Hwy 90 west to Sabinal.
From San Antonio : Take Hwy 90 West to Sabinal
From Sabinal : In Sabinal, at the light, take a right on to HWY 127. It is approximately 20 miles to Concan. You will cross over the 1st Frio River crossing at Neal’s Lodges. On your right there will be the Concan Visitor’s Center, the Post Office, and First State Bank of Uvalde. The next RIGHT will be County Road 348 (locals will refer to it as River Road). You will be turning just before “Andy’s on River Road” (store and tube rentals). Drive past Andy’s parking lot and campground (on your left). Our office is located approximately 1,000 yards from Hwy 127. As the road makes a sharp curve to the right, our paved parking lot will be on the left. Physical address is 289 County Road 348, Concan, TX 78838. GPS does not work well in these hills – poor signal! If you follow GPS, the directions will take you about 2 miles passed our office. Some times it works, and sometimes it doesn’t. We recommend that you NOT depend on GPS.
Our office building is cedar stained and has a long, country porch – above the porch as large signs of “Frio River Vacation Rentals” & “Frio River Realty”.
Additional directions from Leakey & Uvalde : Country Road 348 “River Road” is one large horseshoe. The northern part of the road is between CR 350 and Hwy 127. When coming from the south on Hwy 83 (from Uvalde), when you get to the flashing light in Concan, please take a right. County Road 348 will be first intersection to the left and just passed “Andy’s on River Road”.
When coming from the north on Hwy 83, (Leakey area) please go passed the first County Road 348 sign and continue driving to Concan. You will turn left onto Hwy 127, then less than ¼ mile you will turn left onto County Road 348 (the southern entrance of the road). Our office is on the left just after the first sharp turn to the right.
